From all indications, it seems that Olivier Giroud is in the final phase at Chelsea Football Club as his next possible destination has been revealed.
The French international’s deal will end at West London in the summer and he has made it known to the club authorities that he will not commit another term to them again.
Gazzetta dello Sport reported that Giroud’s representatives have had discussions with AS Roma over a possible move to the club.
The 34-year-old striker joined Chelsea in 2018 from Arsenal and has scored many decisive goals for the Blues.
Once a player clocks 30, Chelsea do not give them more than a year contract. This might have propelled Giroud to wanting to leave the club.
Also, he has not been having enough playtime.
