A cross-section of followers of the Big Brother Naija Lockdown edition on Sunday took to the social media to register their displeasure over the eviction process recently adopted by the organizers of the reality show.
They opined that the new process has rendered the opinion of fans useless.
TheEcho reports that housemates with the least votes after a week are put up before their colleagues to determine who goes home.
This is a sharp deviation from the past where the housemate to be evicted is the person with the lowest number of votes.
Last week, 14 housemates were put up for possible eviction.
Trickytee, Kaisha, Wathoni and Neo had the least number of votes from fans but the housemates voted that Kaisha should be shown the way out from the four. Ideally, Neo should have been evicted.
Many of Kaisha’s fans took to Facebook and other social media platforms to cry out on the perceived injustice meted out on their favorite housemate.
They said if the ultimate decision lies in the hands of the housemates, there is no need for fans to cast their votes then.
