3 Reasons Why Hazard Should Return To Chelsea Next Season

After 7 solid and impactful years, Eden Hazard took the bow from Chelsea and joined Real Madrid during last summer. He came to West London as a promising teenager and left as a star who had taken the world like hurricane. When the super-star left Chelsea, a lot of fans, though pained, had to accept the reality and wish him well in his new found home. Hazard had earlier said that Madrid was his dream club right from childhood. So, when the transfer pulled through last year, most football fans rejoiced with him because it was like the fulfillment of his career dream.

Also, many people believed that Real Madrid was the ideal club for the Belgian to stand a chance of winning world best player. However, one year down the line, hope for such great laurel hasn’t only diminished, his contribution to the entire team isn’t substantial. As a football fan who is passionate about Hazard’s career growth, I believe that he should make a U-Turn to Stamford Bridge next season based on the following reasons:

He is more appreciated at Chelsea: When Hazard was with the Blues, he was unarguably their best player. Everyone respected him for this. He was an authority on his own—a pillar and a point of reference in the team. His picture was often used anytime any brand or outlet wanted to write anything in relation to Chelsea. However, I have not seen that happen to him in Madrid. I cannot blame the Spanish club; he used the better part of his first season to nurse injuries. It is better for Hazard to come back home where he truly treated as a King. I understand Real Madrid has richer history than Chelsea but the Belgian skipper should be concerned about his personal progress.

Chelsea’s style fits him better: If you have been consistent with both Chelsea and Real Madrid matches, you will agree with me that both teams do not use the same style. When Hazard was in Chelsea, all eyes were on him. His colleagues understood the need to locate him with the ball. They believed that he could make a difference. However, the case is not the same in Real Madrid. He now looks like an abandoned player on the pitch.

He stands a better chance of winning personal laurels at Chelsea: With the way Frank Lampard is rebranding the Chelsea squad, if Hazard can come in, then it would be his season of winning personal and collective awards. With Ziyech and Werner coming into the squad, the attacking line of Chelsea is being strengthened. When Hazard was in Chelsea, he was arguably placed behind Messi and Ronaldo. Today, no one will remember him when mentioning the best ten players in the world. He should remember that he does not have age by his side again. Instead of spending more time in place where is becoming an injury-prone player, he should consider coming back home.

With the aforementioned three reasons, if I were Hazard, I will return to Chelsea by next season. The Premier League is missing the vibes of Hazard, yet the LaLiga is not feeling his greatness. This is a proverbial illustration of where he should be.
