Chelsea forward, Olivier Giroud has registered his displeasure over the choice of Tammy Abraham as the leading striker of the team.
Chelsea Gaffer, Frank Lampard has shown more interest in Abraham as his first choice striker over Giroud.
The 22-year-old England forward has lived up to responsibility by scoring eight goals in the Premier League. He also found the back of the net against Lille in UEFA Champions League.
Giroud who has started only two games since the start of the season thinks he deserves more.
Asked about his current lack of game time at Chelsea, Giroud told Le Pelerin: “Accept it? No, I do not accept it.
“You do not have to be fatalistic in certain situations. I have always been respectful and humble. Even if I do not agree with the coach, I do not criticise him.
“But in myself, I cannot accept it because I know what I’m worth on a pitch. Last year, when I felt that I deserved to play, I asked the coach for explanations.”
