Barring any last minute change, Derby County Head Coach, Frank Lampard, has been offered a three-year deal as the gaffer of Chelsea.
This was made known by renowned sports journalist and transfer expert, Nicolo Schira.
The Gazzetta dello Sport employee, on Tuesday, wrote on his official Twitter page that “All confirmed! #DerbyCounty have granted permission for #Chelsea to speak to Frank #Lampard.
“He will be the new manager of #Blues and he will sign a contract until 2022. #transfers #CFC.”
TheEcho reports that the West London club legend would be officially unveiled as the manager of the side any moment from Tuesday.
He has been the favourite to succeed Maurizio Sarri after the latter joined Juventus.
