It seems Eden Hazard’s much-awaited moment to play for Real Madrid is now becoming a reality after the Spanish side struck a deal with Chelsea over the Belgian.
Real Madrid have agreed to part with €100million (£88m/$112m) in order to have Hazard at Santiago Bernabeu next season.
There is high probability that the total cost could amount to €140m (£124m/$146m) after adding extra charges.
Goal reports that both clubs came to a compromise on Hazard’s price, following face-to-face talks between Chelsea director Marina Granovskaia and Real Madrid CEO, Jose Angel Sánchez, in London on Monday.
There is likelihood that Hazard pockets £400,000-a-week upon joining Madrid, a significant pay-rise compared with his current £300,000-a-week at Chelsea.
