Chelsea superstar, Eden Hazard has emerged the sole player to have matched Barcelona Lionel Messi’s double figures for goals and assists in this current campaign.
The Belgian skipper has scored 12 times for the West London side and his national side this season.
Eight of those efforts came in club competition, with 10 strikes registered in the Premier League.
Hazard, who just turned 28, has also contributed 10 assists for the Stamford Bridge side, following his pass to set up Willian’s winner against Newcastle on Saturday.
However, Messi possesses the better side of the statistics as the Argentine has 16 goals and 10 assists so far.
