The Governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State in the forthcoming election, Engr. Seyi Makinde, Saturday challenged the current governor of the state, Senator Abiola Ajimobi and the flag-bearer of All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Adebayo Adelabu to tell the public how they made their money.
Makinde said this during an interview on Lagelu FM, a private radio station in Ibadan while speaking on his winning chances in the forthcoming election.
According to the oil mogul, his main rival, Adelabu centres his campaign round three basic elements—his family background, continuity of the legacies of the present dispensation and his riches.
While commenting on the three electoral focuses, he questioned the legacy left behind by the late Penkelemesi, the grandfather of the APC candidate which is worth paving way for Mr. Adelabu. Makinde also added that the programs of the present administration were not worth continuing and finally, he questioned the source of wealth of Adelabu.
Makinde opined that the duo of Ajimobi and Adelabu have no personal businesses that could make them stupendously rich as they are now.
He also revealed that he has been secretly investigated many times but nothing incriminating was found about him.
The PDP gubernatorial candidate promised to reposition the economy of the state, provide jobs for youths and attract foreign investors to the pacesetter state.
