Chelsea head coach, Maurizio Sarri has named one Tottenham Hostspurs player he will like to see join his side.
Addressing a pre-match press conference ahead of their London Derby with Tottenham, The Italian gaffer confessed that he would like to have Christian Eriksen in Chelsea.
However, he described Kane as the best English striker at the moment.
“Of course Harry Kane is the best English striker in the moment, so a very important player, but if I have to say another name, I like very much Eriksen,” Sarri said.
“Why? Because he is a very smart player, a very technical player.
“He’s able to play in midfield and, at the same moment, score eight or nine goals in a season.
“I think that he is a very important player.
“I like him very much, but I don’t want to talk about a player of Tottenham for the market, of course. I only answered a [hypothetical] question.”
The West London side are currently unbeaten in the Premier League and will look forward to extending the perfect run when they clash with Spurs on Saturday.
The match is slated for 6:30 pm Nigerian time.
