Senator Ali Ndume from Borno South has revealed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmakers were still scheming on how to impeach Senate President Bukola Saraki.
The Senator made this known at News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Forum in Abuja on Tuesday.
He also vowed that his appointment as Chairman, Senate Committee on Establishment and Public Service will not buy him over to Saraki’s camp.
Ndume said he regretted supporting Saraki to emerge as the President of the Senate because he was running the affairs of the senate as his private business.
“Saraki is not supposed to give out committees because they do not belong to him.
“He has personalised the senate and he is becoming like the senators president not Senate president.
“The selection committee is the one with the mandate to give out committees. The committees do not belong to Saraki,” he said.
