Be humble and apologize to him- Shehu Sani berates Buhari over Atiku

The lawmaker representing Kaduna Central District in red chamber, Senator Shehu Sani has called on the Federal Government to tender an unreserved apology to the presidential candidate of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar over an alleged intimidation of the latter by security agents on his return from Dubai.

Atiku reported the alleged harassment on him and his aides via his verified Twitter handle on Sunday.

He wrote, “I arrived to Abuja this morning to a search by agents of the state, aimed at intimidating me and my staff.”

Reacting via this same medium, however, Sani noted that the country had moved past the stage of intimidation of opponents and the federal government should do the needful by apologizing to the Waziri of Adamawa.

He tweeted, “The overzealous acts of the security personnel at the Abuja Airport against the former Vice President Atiku stands outrightly condemned. We have been through this in our history.

“Intimidation and harassment camouflaged as routine. The FG should be humble and apologize to him.”
