REVEALED! How Hazard stopped Real Madrid from signing Antonio Conte

Chelsea superstar, Eden Hazard allegedly played a major role in Real Madrid’s decision to drop their interest in Antonio Conte as the club’s coach.

Hazard appealed to the club not to make the Italian the head coach of the team.

This claim was made by a revered Spanish journalist, Eduardo Inda.

The UEFA Champions League holders had on Monday fired Julen Lopetegui after just 14 matches of being in charge of the team.

He was temporarily replaced by ex-player and manager of Real Madrid Castilla, Santiago Solari.

It was the expectation of many people that Conte will automatically step in after holding an extensive talk with club president, Florentino Perez.

However, the proposed deal seems to have stalled and Inda alleged Hazard to have been the brains was behind it.

The Red Devils’ skipper was keen on moving to Real in the summer but his compatriot, Courtois hindered his transfer.

He has always referred to the club as his dream team and longs to play in the respected white jersey. However, he doesn’t want a reunion with Conte.

Inda told Express Sports that the winger has indirectly communicated with Madrid that he “would never sign” for the club if Conte was appointed.

Hazard played under Conte for two years in Chelsea but after the departure of the latter, the former has since been criticizing his style.

He was not comfortable with the role and position he was made to play under Conte.

Hazard and Conte spent two years together at Chelsea, and while appearing to get on during their time at Stamford Bridge, the former has since criticised his ex-manager.
