Chelsea playmaker, Eden Hazard has revealed a crucial step taken by the team’s head coach, Maurizio Sarri that greatly impacted on the performance of the club.
Hazard noted that the steps the Italian took during the summer transfer window after his arrival from Napoli changed the narratives of the club.
The Blues who are yet to suffer any defeat this season will be going into Saturday’s clash against rival Manchester United with confidence.
Oon his arrival, the tactical manager signed Mateo Kovacic on loan from Real Madrid, midfield maestro, Jorginho from Napoli and new goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, signed for a world record £71.6million from Athletic Bilbao.
Speaking ahead of Chelsea’s clash with Manchester United, Metro UK quoted Hazard as saying, “The first year we won the title with [Jose] Mourinho when we bought [Cesc] Fabregas and Diego Costa was also very good.
“Now is different but the signings have definitely improved the squad. Jorginho is fantastic.
“We lost Thibaut [Courtois] but Kepa [Arrizabalaga] is an incredible replacement, so we will see at the end of the season. If we win everything, then I can say it is the best ever.”
