You’re mentally unstable- Aregbesola berates Saraki, Dogara, others for protesting against Osun guber result

Osun State Governor, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola has berated the leaders of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for protesting against the outcome of the state’s gubernatorial poll.

According to Daily Post, Aregbesola described the opposition leaders as being “mentally unstable” for staging the protest.

The newspaper reports that the outgoing governor of the state made the comment immediately after presenting the governor-elect, Gboyega Oyetola formally to President Muhammadu Buhari at the Aso Villa.

The protesters were led to the headquarters of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) by Senate President Bukola Saraki, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, National Chairman of the PDP, Prince Uche Secondus and other federal lawmakers.

Governor Aminu Tambuwal of Sokoto State, Former Governor Sule Lamido, Senator Ben Bruce were also among the protesters who stormed the INEC officer on Friday afternoon.

They want the INEC to declare the candidate of the PDP during the governorship election in the state, Ademola Adeleke to be declared winner of the poll.
