Leaders of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) were on Friday attacked by men of Nigeria Police after they led a peaceful against the outcome of Osun Gubernatorial election.
The protesters were lead by the President of the Senate, Dr. Abubakar Bukola Saraki, Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, National Chairman of the PDP, Uche Secondus, among other stalwarts.
Ben Bruce, the lawmaker representing Bayelsa East in the Red Chamber alleged that they were attacked at the headquarters of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) during the peaceful protest.
