Ed Woodward snubs Zidane, identifies Mourinho’s possible replacement

The Executive Vice-Chairman of Manchester United, Ed Woodword is still exercising patience before taking a final decision on the future of Jose Mourinho as the head coach of the club.

This season has been very miserable for the Red Devils. West Ham defeated them before Wolves got a draw with them. Valencia also went with a point in their UEFA Champions League encounter while Derby County, a Championship side sent them packing in Carabao Cup.

Mourinho’s hope of retaining his job with the club is becoming faint by the day as his relationship with players gets worsen daily.

Although Woodward is still leaving out time to see how things will play out, the Independent UK reports that if the Portuguese is axed, the club will try to bring in Tottenham boss Pochettino as his replacement.

Although it has been widely rumoured that Zinedine Zidane has been eyeing the position, some executives in the club are of the opinion that he’s not fit to handle the club.
