APC adopts direct primaries in 18 states, indirect in 18 others [See Breakdown for 36 states]

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Tuesday approved the mode of primaries for Saturday, September 29th, 2018 governorship primary elections scheduled to hold across the thirty-six states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

This was contained in a statement released on Tuesday afternoon by APC spokesman, Yekini Nabena.

Before the official release, there have been confusion in different quarters on the kind of primaries states will adopt during the primary elections.
