Chelsea midfielder, Jorginho broke a record of over a decade during the Blues’ clash with West Ham on Sunday afternoon.
For the first time, the Italian had to go home with a point after the Hammers proved a hard nut to crack throughout the encounter. However, the story was superb on a personal level.
Since 2003-04, the midfielder set a charming record of the highest number of attempted passes in a single match- a whopping 180!
The Daily Mail revealed back in March that Manchester City’s Ilkay Gundogan had broken the record after attempting 167 passes against Chelsea. Jorginho has now bettered the German’s tally.
The most impressive part of it is that he broke the record too quickly than anyone could have imagined.
