Chelsea identify Hazard’s successor as club prepare to sell star player

Premier League Giants, Chelsea Football Club are ready to replace their star man, Eden Hazard with Bayer Leverkusen winger, Leon Bailey.

Kicker reports that the Blues are close to sealing a €60million deal to bring the 21-year-old Jamaican youngster to London during January transfer window.

The newspaper reports that Bailey has made Chelsea his preferred destination despite interest from other giants such as Bayern Munich, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City.

The German news platform also reported that Chelsea authorities were already scheming how to sell Hazard next summer amid fears that he might not extend his contract and force a move to desired Real Madrid.

Chelsea head coach, Maurizio Sarri has made Bailey his first target and could seal the deal as early as January.

Meanwhile, in an interview with Kicker, Bailey admitted there is, “concrete interest” from several clubs, but said: “If a club wants me, my management and Bayer will take care of it.”
