Former governor of Imo State, Chief Ikedi Ohakim has described the wife of late Ojukwu, Bianca as a spirit.
Ohakim said this while canvassing support for the widow of the late leader of the Igbo people in her senatorial bid.
Ohakim also revealed that not less than fifteen billionaires have been mobilized to sponsor Bianca on the platform of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
Speaking to Punch Metro, the former governor noted that the Igbo will not watch the widow of their former leader to be intimidated by anybody in whatever circumstance.
He further enjoined those who were nursing the same ambition in Anambra South to bury their ambitions in order to pave way for Bianca.
He said “Those who are contesting the poll with the wife of our leader may have the money and wherewithal to muzzle down Bianca but they don’t have the same integrity.
“Bianca Ojukwu is not an ordinary human being, she is a spirit. She has double-barreled identity and double-barreled legacy
“We have mobilised 15 Igbo billionaires to sponsor her ambition and over 25,000 youths to work for her.”
Ohakim also recalled how Bianca’s husband made invaluable sacrifices for the sake of Igbo nation.
“Ojukwu sacrificed his Oxford education, his personal comfort, his father’s wealth to save the Igbo race at the most auspicious time”.
Speaking at the APGA stakeholders’ meeting held at Ekwulobia in the Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra State, Bianca opined that she was going to the senate to fulfill the aspirations of her late husband by giving her the Igbo a voice in the national polity.
