Spanish Giants, Real Madrid have allegedly told Chelsea that Eden Hazard was not worth the £220 million price tag placed on him.
The West London Club still want to hold on to their playmaker and the huge price tag was intentional just to scare away potential suitors.
Real Madrid President, Florentino Perez was keen on bringing Hazard to Bernabeu after the departure of their talisman, Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer.
French pundit, Fred Hermel told RMC that the Blues’ refusal to shift grounds discouraged the Spanish club in their chase of the player.

Hermel said, “There was a player who we really liked, it’s Eden Hazard, but Chelsea claimed €220m.
“For the Madrid leaders there are only two players who can justify such an expense: Neymar and Kylian Mbappé.”
