Ex-Chelsea coach to take over from Mourinho as Manchester United boss

There are strong indications that another ex-coach of Chelsea Football Club will be taking over from Mourinho at Manchester United as the Portuguese continues to battle with dressing room conflicts.

According to CalcioMercato, Antonio Conte has emerged the favorite to take over from Mourinho at Old Trafford.

After he was axed by Chelsea in the summer, Conte is currently without a job and has been penned to step in once the impasse between Mourinho and other stakeholders in the club gets out of hands.

Mourinho is at loggerheads with midfielder Paul Pogba and United would rather allow the Portuguese leave, than sell the player.

It is believed that Conte would be open to the idea of joining the Red Devils if the opportunity presents itself.
