Meet Olayinka Emmanuel, 54, fake UI professor of Animal Husbandry

Men of the Nigeria Police Force, Oyo State Command have nabbed a 54-year-old Olayinka Emmanuel who is parading himself as a professor of Animal Husbandry in the nation’s premier varsity, University of Ibadan.

He was arrested after defrauding a man of one million naira under the pretext of manufacturing animal multivitamins for him.

The Commissioner of Police of the state, Abiodun Odude while parading the suspect, said Emmanuel connived with one Adegoke Adewumi, 53, to obtain the money from their victim, Kolawole Kamorudeen.

He said, “The duo lied to the victim that they were manufacturers of animal multivitamins. Believing them, the suspect parted with the sum only to later discover that the so-called multivitamins supplied to him were grinded green beans.

“The suspect told police during investigation that the label was printed somewhere in the Oluwole area of Lagos State.

“Four cartons of the green beans branded as multivitamin were recovered in the course of investigation.”

According to Daily Post, Kamorudeen confessed that he decided to take to the illicit way of living due to joblessness.

“We actually used animal supplement to produce the vitamin, but we added green beans to improve the quantity for more money. I am jobless and that is why I went into the business. The professor is my boss,” the newspaper quoted him.
