Chelsea midfielder, Cesc Fabregas shocked many football enthusiasts by liking a post which was celebrating the exit of Antonio Conte as the club’s manager.
Chelsea had on Thursday showed the Italian the exit door after two years of being at the helms of affairs of the club.
Although Fabregas later apologized for his action and deleted the tweet, but many linked it to his earlier accusation that Conte caused his exclusion from Spain’s World Cup squad.
He later wrote an official farewll thus, “Thank you Mister for another Premier League title and FA Cup.
“It wasn’t easy for me to convince you in the beginning but in the end I hope I did you proud! Good luck for the future.”
Under Conte, Fabregas won the Premier League and FA Cup titles.
