Chelsea sack Conte [See how much they will compensate him]

Chelsea Football Club have reportedly sacked their manager, Antonio Conte.

According to Sky Sports, the Blues with compensate Conte with £9million for violation of contract terms.

The report also states that the Italian’s exit will pave way for his compatriot, Maurizio Sarri from Napoli to take over the West London Club.

TheEcho recalls that Conte joined Chelsea in 2016 as the 10th substantive coach under the ownership of Roman Abrahamovic and won the English Premier League in his debut season.

However, the Italian fell out of favour with the top players of his squad in the following season and ended fifth on the Premier League table, thereby denying them a Champions League slot.

He ended the season by winning the FA Cup but that is definitely not enough to save his job.

It would be recalled that Conte had always complained of the transfer policy of Chelsea as being unappealing to him.
