“Whether it’s a joke or real game, they will know”- OBJ vows as he attends PDP rally

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, Monday paid a surprise visit to a rally organized by a governorship hopeful, Oladipupo Adebutu under the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogun State.

According to Daily Post, the rally held at Obasanjo Presidential Library in Abeokuta, the state capital.

Obasanjo told the crowd at the event that he only came to “say hello.”

“I am just passing by and decided to say hello and wish you well… whether it is a joke or a real game, they will know. I saw you here and I came to play with you,” Obasanjo told Adebutu before heading for his convoy.

Obasanjo, who was a two-term President under the PDP tore his membership card of the party on the run up to the 2015 elections.

TheEcho recalls that the former President was also sighted around the venue of the national convention of All Progressives Congress (APC) held in Lagos in December 2014 while he was their admirer.

Obasanjo is currently at war with the APC and President, Muhammadu Buhari and has vowed to dislodge him in the forthcoming election.
