Chelsea are considering swapping their forward, Alvaro Morata for Juventus attacker, Gonzalo Higuain as Maurizio Sarri warms up to resume as the club’s manager.
Sarri, according to La Gazetta dello Sport, is keen on reuniting with Higuain at Stamford Bridge.
TheEcho recalls that the Italian had worked with Higuain at Napoli before they parted ways.
Morata has had career a struggling career in England and he wants to return to Turin.
Although Chelsea are yet to make a formal contact with Juventus, it was learnt that intermediaries have started a dialogue over the possible switch.
It is not yet sure if Juventus will not demand an additional fee from the Blues because their attacker is currently valued at £61million.
While Higuain watched his side from the bench as they crashed out of the World Cup on Saturday, Morata never made it to Russia.
