Ahmed Musa ‘mobbed’ in Abuja [PHOTOS]

Super Eagles and Leicester City forward, Ahmed Musa, Friday was cheered by admirers at the National Mosque where he went for Juma’ah prayers.

According to a report by Daily Post, the highest goal scorer at the World Cup was heavily surrounded by fans who showed their appreciation for his efforts and that of his team mates in Nigeria’s FIFA World Cup matches.

The newspaper further reports that Super Eagles players have been taking their leave from their camp in Russia after their elimination from the world’s most prestigious football tournament.

The Director of Communications of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF). Ademola Olajire confirmed this to newsmen.

“Instead of returning to Nigeria, the Super Eagles players have been returning to their respective bases one after the other, where they have since reunited with their families,’’ he said.

According to reports, some of the players who have had their early exit from the camp include team captain Mike Obi, Odion Ighalo, Victor Moses, Kelechi Iheanacho, Leon Balogun, Alex Iwobi, Kenneth Omeruo and Tyronne Ebuehi.
