Competence will create room for you in labour market- ‘Fisayo Soyombo tells campus journalists

Veteran investigative journalist, ‘Fisayo Soyombo, Saturday urged campus journalists in University of Ibadan to work on their writing skills while in school in order to become better at it.

Speaking on the topic, “Becoming mainstream journalists amidst escalating employment crisis, online media the way out?”  in a programme organized by Association of Faculty of Arts Students Press Organisation, Soyombo noted that despite the many crises facing the nation’s economy, there are still numerous opportunities for competent hands. According to him, employers of labour are always forced to create room for those who are passionate and competent.
