Chelsea playmaker, Eden Hazard has given hint that his door was open for a Madrid switch.
According to the Belgian, he would not like to stay back at Stamford Bridge if their performance becomes worse than last season’s.
It would be recalled that the Blues finished just a place below the Champions League spot in the Premier League last season.
For seasons now, Real Madrid have been eyeing Hazard and this summer could be the perfect moment for the Belgian to join them.
Hazard who is currently in Russia for the World Cup tournament when interviewed by L’Equipe said, ‘I do not want to talk about transfer right now. I have been asked so many times about that. I am focused on the World Cup.
“But as I said before, I won everything in London except the Champions League. If I’m here in my career, it’s thanks to Chelsea. It would be too easy to say: I want to leave because I have done everything.
“It is for that before everything that I would really like to know what will happen at the club next year. I am waiting to see if the coach stays or leaves.”
Recall that Conte fell out of favour of many Blues players right from when he sacked Costa with a text message.
